So who am I? My name is Maureen, AKA QponCutie. I’m 32 years old, and I live in Philadelphia with my husband of 12 years, and our four amazing, crazy kids. I love my family like a fat kid loves cake. I am a stay-at-home mom, and I homeschool the kids through a virtual Charter school. Currently, our kids range from 4-14. I was definitely born to be a mom.
I’m a contradiction in terms, really. I’m a pierced, tattooed, Conservative Catholic mom with a potty mouth. I can be obnoxious and abrasive, and a bit of a dork. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. I can pretty much guarantee that I will offend some or all of you at some point. However, I’m really good times, I promise! (Told you I was a contradiction)
I’m not Donna Reed or June Cleaver, and I don’t profess to be. I take my kids to rock shows, but they ride in my soccer mom minivan. We go to midnight movie premieres, but they still have to do their schoolwork the next day. I’m often shuffling little ones to baseball, soccer, and karate, but I let them play their music loud in the car. I enjoy a rowdy night out with my friends, and love quiet movie/game night with the family.
